I am motivated by the ever-growing data economy to reflect on the global data flow criticality. The world needs boundaries to understand, develop, and control AI. This is to be developed through the worldwide ISO organisation of more than 170 countries to employ data flow methodology as a primary tool. The OBASHI methodology stands out here.
The world desperately needs cyber security, which is now even a warfare tactic. The world needs to protect its data in whatever form it is gathered – personal, commercial, sensitive, private, governmental, military, etc. This can only be done after an organisation has mapped and understands its data flow and where its information is held and how it is connected. Data flow methodology can provide this insight.
The world needs traceability, insight, knowledge, and visibility, but instead crypto-currency and other payment systems are becoming increasingly popular where payment information can be hidden. Data flow methodology can be employed to let countries open up to safe trade through visibility and accountability.
